This 14-day tour takes you from Lhasa to the roof of the world to see Mount Everest at the base camp and continues then to the holy Mount Kailash in western Tibet, before ending the tour in Nepal border.

The first three days acclimatizing visit in Lhasa allows you to see the iconic Potala Palace, Johkang Temple and other famous places at this holy city. Departing Lhasa, turquoise Lake Yamdrok is the first impressive place to see; while visiting the Pelchor Monastery in ancient town of Gyantse, you feel like arriving in the past with its walls and Dzong Castle in the surrounding hills. On day 5, head for the EBC, where you can enjoy your highest hiking, golden sunset and starry night. Head to Mount Kailash afterwards; near Darchen where the trek starts, you will see the holy Lake Manasarovar which is surrounded by various myths and stories like Mount Kailash. On the trek, you will see the beautiful sceneries from different sides of Mount Kailash, pilgrims doing full-body length prostrations and cross the high and enduring Dolma-La Pass.

After succeeding to complete the trek around Mount Kailash you will drive towards the border of Nepal. From Darchen you drive to Saga following the Brahmaputra River and enjoying the views of the nomadic regions of western Tibet. After a night at Saga you drive to Gyirong Town close to the border of Nepal for about 7-8 hours. The China-Nepal border is known as the Back Garden of Mount Everest and during the way there you can see various spectacular landscaper as the altitude descends dramatically on the way. After the sunrise in Gyirong Town and breakfast, it’s time to cross the border to Nepal and continue to Kathmandu.
