Trip Overview

For travelers think 8 days visit in Tibet is a little bit short, the holy sky lake of Namtso is a perfect supplement, especially for those interested more in natural sceneries. The first seven days visit in Tibet is exactly the same as the 8 Day Mt. Everest Base Camp Group Tour offers: start easy by visiting all cultural highlights in Lhasa with good acclimatization at the beginning, come up with fabulous sceneries from Lhasa to Gyantse to Shigatse and till Mt. Everest Base Camp in the core area of the Himalayas; appreciating the marvelous golden sunset and sunrise views of Mt. Everest. Why we say Namtso Lake is a perfect supplement to Mt. Everest? Because the north face Mt. Everest region of Himalayas are all of barren plateaus of the least vegetation, while the Namtso region is full of vivid nomadic life, vast green grassland, grazing sheep and yaks, dedicate nomadic tents, which are all of another typical Tibetan picture people imagined before. By adding two days to Namtso Lake, you will not only see all those typical Tibetan nomadic views there, but also view one of the most beautiful holy lakes in Tibet, normally known as the sky-lake for its height and charm.
